I am in Cape Town, South Africa.........no snow right now and when it does it is normally only on the mountain tops. I am a recent raw foodie, really battling to come to grips with Winter now and I don't have all the handy tools either, just a knife, a grater, a chopping board and a coffee grinder. I think the tools make all the difference as i can eat just so many salads on a rainy night!

Any recipes you can think of for a beginner, I am all ears (or eyes).

A dehydrator is a great way to warm up your foods! This is wonderful advice, I have a hard time eating all raw when its cold. Especially with all the time I spend outdoors!

I live in California now, but when I lived in Massachusetts (2 years ago) it snowed on October 15th! Although I live in a moderate climate, I do like to have some warm raw food! Thanks for the advice!
