hello there -
the thing i appreciate the most about the site is the recipes with their photos - especially the original ones, that are very creative, and also the ones that are zero-to-low nut containing.
i bet it is a lot of work to come up with original recipes of this standard and quality all the time - so my suggestion is that you open up the blog a bit - for recipes that are from other people as well - give a submission form - and guidelines for writing and photos - so really this will remain a super high quality site and not just another recipe site with ordinary recipes.
you can also open it up to high quality articles, restaurant reviews - but as said, keep it high, keep it focused.
thanks

Susan,
This is one of my top favorite places to go on the internet--I love it just as it is. You rule! My only suggestion is to do a glossy hard bound cookbook featuring all your spectacular photos and recipes in print. You make a wonderful and heartfelt contribution to the raw food world. Much support.
xo

I am strictly raw at this point. We will see what the future brings. As to the prep...I actually spend MUCH less time "cooking" than I used to. It is just a mental shift. You have to lose the I need it immediately thoughts. I am working on a planner that should help. Look for it in January!

The best thing to me is the photos. You are a wonderful artist. I love the recipes but have trouble with all the prep and pre planning. Is that just something we have to deal with? It stops me from trying things - having to start 2 days in advance. I guess its just a paradigm shift and I'm not shifted yet!! I am only 80%ish raw and would love to also see healthy cooked vegan recipes if that is part of your philosophy. I think you did a piece on quinoa a while ago(if I remember correctly). Again, I love this site for its visual appeal.

I love your site as it is - love the recipes especially.

I like Beth's comments about how to eat raw on weekday worknights. My husband and I default to salad...every. single. night. It has gotten really really old. Any ideas for things that two working people could whip up at night would be amazing.

Thanks!

Is there any advice you can offer on planning for a week of meals for a family of raw foodists? I'm having trouble with that transition. I know there's potentially a lot of time to invest in the dehydrating process and that's what's a hurdle for me. How do you alternate smoothies vs other meals? What do you do for your kids' lunches to bring to school?

Love the blog content. The only improvement I can suggest is to set your feeds to give the full posts rather than a portion. Many folks read blogs via RSS aggregators and linking out to read the full text can be a pain if you're on a slower connection due to the graphics etc. You're site is a visual treat, absolutely. I can't always take the time to load it but would love to be able to read the text anyway.

I am so visual so the pictures are eye candy for me. The recipes show me that raw is affordable and can be easy. I guess what I need in my life right now is support. How do you become your own support? How do you fight SAD food cravings (plain potatoe chips are my downfall!). But I thoroughly enjoy reading your blog!
