Red pears are in our market now in TX. I saw this gorgeous picture and clicked on the recipe. Serendipity happened because I had all the ingredients! I love it when that happens. Will surprise my husband with this dessert, he likes pears too.

Yum – here in New Zealand, Easter happens in the Fall – so this April these yummy pears will be on my Easter dessert table. Made me laugh when you state that one pear is good for 2 people – oh no, I’m having one all to myself!

Love the look of photo. I have made pears in slices such as these, but never left them whole. Personally, I like of look of what you have created better!

This looks and sounds wonderful! I’m hoping to find a box of those pears.i usually go to the Minneapolis Farmers market- hope it’s open one more Saturday.Could you give me a substitute (and amount needed) for the agave syrup? I have concerns over some of the studies that say it is like High fructose corn syrup after processing.Thank you for the lovely recipes and website.
