Grain Grinder and Flaker Give Away!

If you enjoyed the “How to Make Raw Flaked Oats” post, you will love this give-away! It is a grain grinder and grain flaker just for you so you can make your own raw sprouted oat flakes and other raw sprouted flours and flakes!

This NorPro Grain Grinder does it all, both flakes and flour. I put it through it’s paces and almost decided to keep it! It did a great job with both flaking and grinding.

To enter the contest, just leave a comment telling us why you are eating healthy and also approximately what percentage of raw food you eat.  You can only enter once and the contest closes on Thursday, May 16th at 9:00 am PST. The winner will be chosen by a random number generator. You must answer the questions for your entry to count.

I am a culinary student who just finished an amazing week of raw foods! I’m so excited and have started eating raw about 90% of the time now. I am most excited about the raw desserts that are out there. I am now considering opening a raw bakery! Love raw.

I am living a healthy lifestyle which includes clean eating, exercise and meditation. As I get older, I see the stronger need to take care of myself. The body doesn’t handle the stress of eating poorly, mental stress and physical stress as it once did at an earlier age.
I find that eating raw is a welcome change and easier on my digestive tract as well as my mind.
Having a history of dimentia in the family, I want to do all I can to guard against this disease!

I eat healthy because I find that everything is just better when I do. My grades, spirit, intelligence, confidence and overall health all take leaps. I’d say for raw food, maybe 40%? Thanks for the giveaway!

I am gluten sensitive and am 100% lactose intolerant for 40 plus years. The wear and tear on my digestive system has caught up to me and now I have a chronic digestive disorder. Since I went raw I have been feeling much better. Thank you for this chance. I have to try your orange thyme salad with glazed beets and spiced walnuts. Looks amazing.

I have been vegan for just a year, probably about 40% raw. I am just wanting to live a long and healthy life! 🙂

I have 5 kids and eat healthy for myself and to set a good example for them. I want them to learn healthy habits now that will stay with them as they get older. At the moment we eat about 60% raw.

I am fairly new to raw eating, but my husband and I have been eating about 80% raw for 2 months now, just for health benefits. And this is the first year we have NO seasonal allergies!! Loving it 🙂

As a result of my years of research, I have learned that a plant-based, primarily raw diet is the best. So I eat about 70-90% raw. I also enjoy being a raw chef and introducing other people to healthy, raw food!

Thanks for all your great recipes!
