“Let thy Food be thy Medicine and thy Medicine be thy Food” – Hippocrates.

‘Food Matters’ is a hard hitting, fast paced look at our current state of health. Despite the billions of dollars of funding and research into new so-called cures we continue to suffer from a raft of chronic ills and every day maladies.

The film sets about uncovering the trillion dollar worldwide ‘Sickness Industry’ and exposes a growing body of scientific evidence proving that nutritional therapy can be more effective, more economical, less harmful and less invasive than most conventional medical treatments.

‘Food Matters’ features interviews with leading medical experts from around the world who discuss natural approaches to preventing and reversing Cancer, Obesity, Heart Disease, Depression, Mental Illness and many other chronic conditions.

Find out what works, what doesn’t and what’s killing you. Becoming informed about the choices you have for you and your family’s health could save your life.

My biggest health wish is to be able to successfully, gradually, and continually go raw (at least 80%). I’ve done it a couple times but the hardest thing is really sticking to it and persevering through the temptations. I’ve seen the benefits in myself and in my 3 year old daughter but, again, we’re back on that “SAD” diet and our chronic eczema is back.

As usual, ‘always late Lucy’! Missed the entry time by about 45 minutes! Oh, well, maybe next time.
I have just begun my raw journey and am looking forward to amazing things. My biggest health wish is to lose about a 100lbs (currently 5’7″ and 250lbs). Also to help my teenage son to slim down. I have recently been diagnosed with Adult Attention Deficit Disorder and would like to learn how to control or change it with raw foods, if possible. I have yet to find raw friends in my area, so online will do nicely.

I wish that I could learn to live a life free from work-related tension, environmental pollutants, and chemical abuse and to wish away the effects that I feel from daily exposure to a stressful and toxic world. Since this is impossible then maybe I should try to enhance my lifestyle by taking control of my body and mind and allow myself to be energized by eating as natural as I can along with exercise and meditations. Perhaps then I could enhance my physical, spiritual, and my emotional well-being. Thanks for being here for us!

My wish is that my parents would make the choice to change their diet so that they could reverse some of the health issue they have so they could live to see their great-grandchildren!

My biggest health wish is that my son and husband will join me in eating a vegan diet. They don’t have to be raw, I just wish they would stop eating animal products.

I wish for my children to learn to make healthy choices when eating. And that I will be a good example they will want to follow.

My biggest health wish is that I can share with my family the foods and health choices I am passionate about. I hope that someday they will understand & share this same passion.
