Strawberry Lemon Basil Frozen Tort

I often get asked, “What is your inspiration when you create raw food recipes?” Usually the answer is ingredients. Or combinations of ingredients that I have seen. I think, what can I do with that to make a great raw food dish. But my latest inspiration has been the heat. No kidding. With temps in the 90’s to over 100, my palate is craving cold, icy goodies. I got busy over the weekend and started putting together some of my best recipes so far.

Wanting all of these recipes to be super easy, and very available, you won’t even need an ice cream maker to create any of them. Everything is done in the freezer. Ease and taste are my top priorities. You will find recipes so full of flavor and delicious combinations. There are also tons of tips and hints for you to make them just the way you like.

Rawmazing Easy Frozen Desserts will be released within the two weeks. I will keep you updated and let you now as soon as it is available. Everything is raw, vegan and gluten free!!

I seem to want chilled food more these days. Actually, during the summer, I try to keep my recipes as simple as possible. Sometimes I just eat the ingredients in their natural state, like fresh fruits and veggies. But, I think I wouldn’t mind trying that dessert.

Looking forward to this book! The hot weather has inspired me to experiment with banana soft serve and watermelon ice, and other ideas will be welcome.

If you would ever like to add an index to one of your books to make the recipes and ingredients easier to find, please contact me. I do indexing (as well as copyediting) and would love an opportunity to work with you.
