Raw Veggie Rice with Tamari Orange Sauce

This veggie recipe is quick, easy and satisfying!

Here is a quick, raw “stir fry” that makes a great meal. It’s a great addition to your veggie recipes. It is loaded with vegetables, and topped with a Tamari Orange sauce that gives just the right amount of sweet and sour. No oil, no added fat. You can eat this to your heart’s content. And your heart will be content with all those wonderful nutrients.

The “rice” is cauliflower and parsnips and is combined with carrots, mushrooms, snow peas, scallions, peppers and mung bean sprouts. A beautiful medley of color and goodness. I think this will become a favorite go-to recipe.

    Hello,
So I been talking to my wife who has celiac disease. Decided to make this for dinner tonight. My oh my am I surprised how well it tastes. We have been an eco friendly family since we started dating 4 years ago. Her child and our 1 year old show signs of celiac disease as well. It scares me to death about what people put into their body. Now we or at least myself wont go completely raw. I do like my occasional steak. But we decided to cut bad to one meat entree a week(we use to eat it everyday) and it was so costly finding grass fed beef corn fed chicken and other meat certified gluten free. Anyways this recipe is amazing and thank you for making it a heck of a lot easier making food the whole family enjoys. 🙂 merry holidays

    Hello there!

I am very new to raw, just started today. But I have been looking over your website and wonderful recipes for months now. I am from Uruguay, where most of the foods eaten there are steak and pasta, bread is also a favorite. So you can only imagine how hard it ALREADY is for me to eat raw. But I am determined to do this. I am looking forward to its rewards. One thing I tell myself is as long as I keep it interesting and flavorful I can do this! Your recipes sure look like both. Thank you so much for your inspirational website and amazing work! Congratulations on your marriage by the way 😉

You caught our attention with “raw rice”! Love the idea of using parsnips in addition to cauliflower – very innovative!

I made this for dinner last night and it instantly became a staple! I really cannot wait to pick up these ingredients from the farmers market and enjoy this even more when I know the farmers that created them. I’m kind of new to raw meals, but this was a great start! Thank you!!

I’m hoping to start including more raw food in my life, and this looks like a good place to start – thank you:)
